A joint project by the pianist Kuba Sokołowski and visual artist Paweł Stasiewicz focuses on the presentation of the unlimited sound possibilities of total piano and the dramaturgical consequences of the use of graphic notation. Classical piano music is confronted here with noise textures created through the use of everyday objects to prepare instruments. Their stylized compositions allude to the sonoristic traditions of the Polish school of composition and to the explorations of the German experimental scene, especially those of Reinhold Friedl.
